How To Build a Capsule That Actually Works

How To Build a Capsule That Actually Works

A capsule wardrobe sounds great until you try to live in one. Most of them collapse the moment a season changes, a workout pops up, or you actually have to leave the house twice in one day.

A capsule works when every piece does more than one job. Here's the framework we use when we design.

Start with weight. Heavy hoodie. Heavy pant. Mid-weight tee. Light babytee. Different weights cover different temperatures without adding clutter.

Stick to a palette. Black, grey, white. That's it. Three neutrals means every piece works with every other piece. No 'but it doesn't go with…' conversations.

Buy fit twice. Boxy oversized for layering. Fitted for under and alone. You need both. Most people only buy oversized and then wonder why everything looks the same.

Unisex where you can. Gendered where it matters. A great hoodie doesn't need a women's version. A babytee absolutely does.

One statement, no statements. A statement piece every day reads as costume. A statement piece on a quiet base reads as style.

We built our launch around exactly this. Two pants. Two hoodies. A crewneck. Two tees. A babytee. In black, grey, and white. That's 24 combinations before you even count fit variations.

It's a system. Wear it like one.
